Greetings

Dear Customers, Partners and Prospects:

Whether operating on premise, hosted or managed environments - operational complexity, the dynamic nature of virtualization and the promise of cloud computing technologies requires a more holistic, unified and automated approach to IT management.  That is the vision upon which our company was founded.

AccelOps has been receiving fantastic market response with regards to our integrated data center and cloud monitoring solution.  We would like to take a moment and share our news with you.

As you seek to upgrade and consolidate disparate point solutions, reassess legacy tool and open source investments or build out your private/hybrid cloud initiatives - we would welcome the opportunity to understand your requirements and explore how AccelOps can address your challenges.

As always, we welcome your suggestions and comments to info@accelops.net.

Regards,
Imin Lee
Co-Founder and CEO

New in AccelOps v2.1

OneAccelOps continues to extend our monitoring platform based on market feedback and engineering ingenuity.  For example, our knowledgebase (built-in dashboards, rules and over 900 report templates) is growing rapidly which means that customers can realize value from our solution that much faster.

More recently, we announced our Service Provider edition that exposes advanced multi-tenancy technologies.  This offers significant benefits to large enterprises and service providers with regards to operational efficiency, SLA's and capitalizing on new service delivery opportunities.  Key features in AccelOps version 2.1 are:

Consolidated, multi-tenant console with unified, interactive views aggregated across sites, and by customer/division, that are fully customizable.  Not only does central IT gain operational oversight across the extended infrastucture, but customer and division administrators can enjoy rich monitoring and reporting capabilties as per their organizational domain.

Agent-less, multi-site intgration functionality streamlines on-boarding and managmeet of multiple customers/divisions.  One AccelOps' cluster can centrally monitor many organizations in both on-premise and off-premise environments.

Scalable, dynamic clustering in which AccelOps' virtual appliance cluster members can be added on-the-fly to enhance performance and support unlimited online data analysis.

Smart incident management via alert consolidation, auto-suppression rules, instant filtering, and exception and state management.

Integration API's to incorporate AccelOps' CMDB, search, incident and ticketing details into external systems.

There are a host of new application, virtualization, network and storage monitoring capabilties, as well as added device support.  Get more details

SOC, NOC or "All-in-One"

TwoAccelOps offers the only integrated monitoring solution with virtual appliance, SaaS or managed service packaging options, as well as the choice of our Security Information Event Management (SIEM) module, Performance Availability module (PAM) or both for an "all-in-one" solution.  Many organizations start with one module and quickly see the value to extend to an "all-in-one" approach to leverage the advantages of SOC/NOC convergence.  The acquisition of ArcSight by HP is certainly a market bellwether of future convergence, but the value of such integration is not news to us or our customers.  Here are some useful insights regarding SOC/NOC convengence.

  • Virtual appliance supports their VMware investment

"For a period of about six months, we tried every product we could get our hands on.  AccelOps puts everything about our environment in that one single pane of glass now - whether it's our virtualization,, storage or classic systems and network management infrastructures.  AccelOps gives my team an integrated platform to monitor and correlate the performance of discrete technologies and actions, as well as the ability to manage IT services."
R. Todd Thomas, Chief Information Officer at ARA

In a Word "Multi-tenancy"

FiveMulti-tenancy relates to software architecture where by one instance of the software can serve multiple organization or customer "tenants."  While computing resources are shared, the software virtually partitions functionality to support data and configuration of each client.  From a client perspective, the clients work with their own virtual instance and respective data.

AccelOps offers enterprise customers and managed service providers multi-tenancy that streamlines multi-site, multi-customer/division discovery, configuration, distributed collection, analytics, monitoring, dashboards, alerting and reporting.  Our multi-tenant implementation is all presented through a consolidated web console - avoiding the cost and administrative burden of managing multiple separate components and portals.

AccelOps is not just software that can be operated as a virtual appliance. Plenty of conventional software applications have been ported to run on a virtual machine.  The AccelOps platform was designed on a virtual cluster architecture that takes advantage of internal parallel processing, load balancing and multi-tenancy, as well as leveraging VMware's provisioning and high-availability attributes.

"We needed broader operational visibility and given the question of Cisco MARS on-going maintenance and device support, we felt it was time to extend our security and netwok monitoring capability.  AccelOps provides greater SIEM functionality, versatility and efficiency compared to using multiple tools.  Migrating from Cisco to AccelOps was easy as the system is very automated and robust."
Eric Hoy, Manager of IT Global Network Services at Dionex
