Dear Reader:

Welcome customers, partners and prospects - there have been tremendous activity over the past few months that have resulted in product enhancements, market recognition and customer adoption.

The development team has been fanatically working on our version 1.5 made available this past October.  The new features and enhancements encompassed virtualization, incident management, analytics, reporting, usability and device coverage.

With the news of our release also came a pleasant surprise. The industry research firm, Frost & Sullivan, recognized AccelOps with the 2009 Network Performance Monitoring and Datacenter Management Product Innovation Award.

We do understand that many customers want to keep the results achieved with our solution "a competitive advantage."  We do appreciate AMERICAN SYSTEMS and The Jewish Home of San Francisco for sharing their AccelOps experience with the greater IT community.  In this regard, we anticipate continued customer news and published case studies.

AccelOps' holistic, integrated and service-oriented approach to datacenter monitoring is the right investment at the right time for the mid-tier enterprise.  Take us for a test drive by registering for our try and buy program.

As always, we welcome your suggestions and comments to info@accelops.net.

Regards,
Imin Lee
Co-Founder and CEO

AccelOps applies real-time correlation to these details.

Operators can leverage the existing rules or create their own rules that include identity, directory group object and location attributes.  Since all the identity and location details are stored, they are also available within AccelOps' interactive topology maps, enterprise search and on-demand report features.  Operators can search and report on user and group activity, resource utilization, adherence to controls and policy, and even track anomalous activity related to identity and location.  Since AccelOps records all primary logins, true identity is available even if the event / transaction is by way of using shared credentials.

In A Word: Network Behavior Analysis & Statistical Profiling

EightNetwork Behavior Analysis (NBA), also known as network profiling, provides the means to monitor and measure network traffic leveraging network flow data to set operating norms, identify anomalous activity, resolve network faults and understand information technology usage trends.

Network flow or NetFlow (related to IETF standard) is a record of network packet flow information, which contains details such as source and destination address, port (application) and amount of data, produced by popular network switch and routers and disseminated according to vendor-specific protocols such as Cisco Netflow, Juniper J-Flow and HP sFlow.

AccelOps not only delivers full Network Behavior Analysis features, but also applies similar statistical profiling to monitor and baseline system resource utilization, as well as user and service accounts activity. This allows for the early detection of network, system and user anomalies, suspicious activity, exceptions and insider threats. Operators can extend or create statistical anomaly rules on any network flow parameter.

With AccelOps identity and location management feature, user identity information is included with detected traffic information to identify who (down to the Active Directory reference) is associated with the anomaly or problem and where it originated. In addition, operational reports can associate network and system resource utilization to users and groups.
